I'm off on the annual three week sailing trip, which contrary to most people's imagination, as indicated by their dreamy-eyed delight when I tell them, is more stressful and absorbing than lying on a deck trailing my fingers in the yacht's wake.
It'll be three weeks of meteorology, mathematics, jargon, oceanography and claustrophobia. That doesn't take into account the possible rain, gales and seasickness. But it does take my mind off everything else in life. And offers me sky, blues, air and physical dexterity.
